Create Favicon for your Blogger or Website!!!
Favicon also known as website icon, is usually displayed in the address bar when we access a website. For example, you can see 'B' like icon in the address bar when your in the blogger page. Mozilla Firefox displays all the icon formats like jpeg, png, ico and gif. Generally the size of the icon should be 16x16 or larger so that it will be clear. You can use photoshop or any image editors to create the icon. Here are the steps,
1. Create your icon.
2. Locate the following code in the blog's source code
link href='http://img521.imageshack.us/img521/3381/41941212lu6.gif' rel='shortcut icon'
It will be present in the head section of the source code.
3. If you don't have this code means than you have to add it (in the head section).
4. Load the icon in the image hosting website like imageshack.us. It will give the url, replace the above url with yours.
5. That's it, save your template and view the blog you can able to the see the favicon in the address bar.
