We have seen about: commands for Google Chrome. Here are the lists of about: commands for FireFox. That you should type in the Address Bar(IE term.)/ Location Bar (FF term.) 1. about: Simply typing this command will show the general information and the version of the FF. 2. about:mozilla Its a FF easter egg. 3. about:blank Shows a blank page. 4. about:config Shows the FF configuration. Can be able to edit the configurations but do it carefully, or dont try it. 5. about:credits Displays the list of contributors who helped develop FF. 6. about:plugins Reveals the installed plugins. 7. about:cache Shows information about the Firefox cache. Can even browse the files in the cache. 7. about:buildconfig Shows something that i cann't able to understand. (If anybody knows tell me what was that)
The beta version of Google's Chrome has been released. Here are some of the hacks that can be performed in the all new browser. Type the following in the address bar and see what happens! 1. about:plugins 2. about:histograms 3. about:version - will show you the version of the chrome 4. about:internets - will display the old Windows Screen Saver. 5. about:memory - will show the memory occupied by the browsers and its plugins. For now only Window's version of Chrome is available. We can expect Linux versions in the near future and the development process
